Established in 2013. Winner of Coastal Virginia Magazines Readers Choice Awards for Best Restaurant Overall on the Peninsula 2015 (Bronze). We also took Gold for Best Signature Drink and Best Small Business on the Peninsula. During the day our menu consists of afew salads and sandwiches along with a long list of inventive specialty pizzas. After 3pm we switch out the sandwiches for a variety of tapas and entrees. The real marvel comes in as the chefs create three or four new dishes for lunch and another four or five for dinner… every day. Twice a day. New dishes. Its crazy! Not to mention the desserts. Specials are posted to our website twice a day at about 11am and 5pm. Venture Kitchen & Bar was established in May 2013 to serve inventive food for a reasonable price. In our first year we came in third as Best Restaurant on the Peninsula by readers of Coastal Virginia Magazine. Why pizza and tapas? We believe that sharing a meal is sharing of yourself. Add a classic cocktail, and you just might get better at it.
