Billy D began his journey in the seafood industry at the early age of 12, where he worked at a local seafood restaurant manufacturing crab pots. Through his hard work and dedication, he was later promoted to the kitchen (back of the house) and learned to master thefine art of crab steaming. His diligence paid off and at the age of 16, he became manager of both the front and back of the house. He managed that restaurant for the next ten years and learned everything there was to learn about seafood and how to successfully run a popular and prosperous restaurant. His passion and dream has always been to own and operate his own restaurant and to share his creative and unique culinary skills with his community. He has expanded his expertise to Billy Ds Famous Fried Chicken, with a southern spiced recipe like none other. Billy D is considered a Seafood Chef Extraordinaire and he brings the best and freshest seafood to the Hampton Roads area. Because he uses the freshest ingredients made with love, he stands by and honors his motto daily. He is Honored to Serve You. Currently, we offer to-go menu items that can be ordered at the counter or called in for pick up. We do not have dine in seating so come on in and grab a meal or two to-go!
