Established in 2015. Were a local spot, serving exceptional locally roasted Vigilante Coffee, full breakfast and lunch. Check out our special seasonal coffee beverages, and our locally famous weekend brunch. Or, just stop in for a quick beer and a chat; we love toget to know the people of our neighborhood. Cafe Kindred opened its doors in April of 2015. After we found our footing with the coffee, breakfast, brunch, and lunch service we were providing, in the beginning of 2017, Townshend Bar was added. Its a small, independently-owned restaurant that focuses on quality over quantity. Under one roof, you can find some of the best coffee/espresso, brunch, cocktails, beers, burgers, and more, in the Northern Virginia area. Owned by a husband and wife team, their life experiences have always focused on high end food and beverage across the US. They bring that quality to the town of Falls Church, VA, and provide the neighborhood with a second home; a place to reconnect with friends and family. And though wi-fi is provided for people that like to get work done in the space, the focus is more on food, drinks, and good times instead of being laden with laptops after 5 pm during the week, and on the weekends.
