Famous Anthonys is truly a Family Owned and Family Operated business. Our crew is very important to us and weve worked side by side with a majority of them for over 10 years. At Anthonys, we manage from our kitchens. Its the way Tony Triplette, the owner has started off every location and has designed open kitchen windows for this very reason. Its an honor to be able to cook in one of our kitchens and all managers, from the owner to the VPs to the shift managers, cook. Famous Anthonys is recognized as one of Roanokes most awarded restaurants. In 1992 our Southwest Plaza location opened. In 1994, the Salem store began operation. The Crystal Spring store opened in 1996, 460 East in 1998, Brookside in 1999, and Vinton in 2000. Our first Lynchburg, Virginia location opened in the fall of 2004. We then opened a Blacksburg location in the Spring of 2012. Famous Anthonys has won numerous awards from the readers of the Roanoker Magazine and the Best Of categories for the local community publications. Some of the categories include Best Family Breakfast, Best Inexpensive Lunch, Best Neighborhood Restaurant and Best Restaurant to take the kids along. As your award winning neighborhood restaurant, we support local schools and sports teams as well as civic organizations and charities. We support area high school after prom parties, area high school yearbooks and contribute to a variety of charitable organizations including the Relay for Life, Junior League, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Special Olympics, and many others.
