A while back, founder Dave Fletcher came upon a herd of deer relaxing in a field just off the Lanape Trail in Cedar Grove. The strangest thing about this particular herd of deer is that they were all slurping a hot drink from mugs. The largest of the deer, looked casually over at Dave and smiled. He picked up an extra mug and said with a deep accent, Huzzah there wandering fella… have a slurp of my spectacular coffee — itll knock yer socks right off. Dave accepted his offering and tasted the most delicious coffee Ive ever had! His friends all chuckled loudly like he was now in some strange club. After finishing his gifted coffee, Dave returned his mug, and his deer cohorts shouted in unison, Thats Ol Cedar Bean! And he really likes to make his coffee!
