Tommy Frangakis immigrated from Greece in 1958, and settled in Fayetteville in 1961. He opened Zorbas Gyro in 1974, and it has been a family affair ever since. His son John has helped out at Zorbas for most of his life, and has been a permanent fixture since 1996.Zorbas has become a local favorite because of its cooked to order breakfast offerings, delicious handmade gyros, authentic tzatziki sauce, and exceptional meat sauce. Zorbas opened their second location in Hope Mills, NC in 2009. Both stores feature a friendly atmosphere, great staff, and exceptional food. Stop by and see us!
