Hey Hey Cupcake

Established in 2012. At hey hey cupcake! we specialize in seriously fresh cupcakes and cakes in an atmosphere of fun. We bake at least seven flavors daily, and have additional rotating flavors available. Please call ahead for an order of a dozen or more, or to place a cake order. (Although we work with you if you need an emergency several dozen cupcakes!) We opened in 2012, but Courtney has been baking long before that, creating custom cakes for people through word of mouth for 10 years, after completing a pastry program. The short story: after discussing options to get baking out of her home kitchen, we just went for it. The longer abridged version: Courtney, Gabriel and a few lovely ladies would stop by a dear friend (Melanies) home, who was going through aggressive experimental cancer treatment for coffee-talk (which meant prayer, coffee, sharing joy and life experiences, and to be encouraging during this traumatic time). After all the ladies left, we stayed and would have a few minutes to talk about this hypothetical business plan, before we began our days. Melanie, who miraculously is now cancer-free (WOO-HOO, thank God!), is also Chairman of the Board, as she has been part of us from the beginning in some regard. She can sometimes be seen wearing a marching band hat when we rope her in to helping with special events:)
