Al's Cafe

Als Cafe was established in 1959 by the Ambrogi Family at the site of a former market on McMurray Road in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. A few bar stools and tables served as a point of relaxation for many of the areas working men, allowing for a cold bottle of beer or a sandwich after a long day of tending the local industry. As the decades rolled by Als Cafe adapted to the growing needs of the community. Many Pittsburgh-area residents fondly recall the nostalgic memories of the music and nightlife scene at Als. Music from local favorites such as Donnie Iris and Airborne with Jeff Jimerson added great sounds to the already great tradition of quality food and service at Als.
