The Cortland Downtown Partnership Inc. is dedicated to a more active, vibrant, and sustainable downtown. We follow the National Trust for Historic Preservations Main Street Four-Point Approach® and utilize its principles as a unique economic development tool. TheCDPs four Volunteer committees are the foundation of the local initiatives that are designed to revitalize our commercial district by leveraging local resources to maximize economic impact. Our resources include a strong industrial heritage, architecturally significant buildings, an emerging identity in arts and entertainment and perhaps most notably a growing sense of community pride tied to our national exposure as a sport and recreation destination that has dubbed us the Biggest Little Sports City in the Nation. The Cortland Downtown Partnership was incorporated on January 20th 2006. We are a membership organization comprised of downtowns stakeholders. The success of our organizations activities relies heavily on securing community wide financial and volunteer support for the promtion and enhancement of Historic Downtown Cortland.
