Pasion

The LCVIS is a Florida 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization whose mission is to bring together blind/legally-blind seniors/adults for education, support, and socialization. LCVIS was founded in November, 2003, by a legally-blind individual, George Bisbikos,who previously led a health and finance class at the Lighthouse of Broward County for five years. eorge is the Director/President of the organization, and he is responsible for all aspects of the organization including planning and implementing the programs for each meeting. He is assisted by his Vice President, Barbara Seitz, a retired teacher and supervisor of The Learning Center for Students with Disabilities at Miami Dade Community College. In addition to George and Barbara, at each meeting there are other volunteers who are dedicated and professional individuals.
