Amico's Pizza

Amico Pizza was founded in 1962 by Sam Amico in the Waring Road Plaza. Sam, an icon in the local pizza industry prided himself with combining the finest of ingredients with personal customer service, creating a business standard. Mr. Amico worked hard for his family and in 1980 opened a second location in Irondequoit on E.Ridge Road. In 1995, Mr. Amico retired and sold the locations to both of his sons, David and Chris. In the years that followed, David and Chris consolidated their operations into the Ridge Road location. Today, David still carries on the family business. He started working alongside his father when he was just eight years old. Davids career highlights also include being a wonderful husbands and very busy father of five, including quadruplets.
