Established in 2012. Authentic Sicilian, Puglian and Toscan cuisine using locally sourced ingredients, prepared in a dual chambered hand crafted wood-burning oven. Specialty pizzas, gluten free options, Seafood, Wild Game Inspiration for Tavola originated from chef/owner, Nick Accardis extensive travels visiting Family members in Sicily. With a purist approach to cuisine and a appreciation of a bygone era, Accardis apparition was to deliver a menu using the freshest, locally sourced Produce, Fish, Meats and Wild Game in the true cuisine of his Sicilian roots. The Restaurateur/chef was determined to create an experience for his patrons identical to that of a trattoria in Castelvetrano, Sicily or a family members dinner table in that very same town… Hence the restaurants name, Tavola. (Table in Italian) Cooking techniques, historically passed down to generations over time by mentor, mother or master in each town, are applied to each pertinent dish. Tavolas Chef de Cuisine, Giancarlo Dellanzo a native Florentian of Puglian decent has contributed influences, family recipes and culinary techniques with the Brigade de cuisine in line with tradition.
