Antonios founder, Greg Gentile, has spent his career in the restaurant and bar industry. After significant travels through Italy sampling local cuisines from the varied regions, he came to understand and appreciate the the secrets of simple but excellent Italian cuisine. Through his passion for true Italian cuisine Antonios came to be in 1989. It all began in Maitland Florida after renovating a building and converting it into a Authentic Italian Deli and Cafe. Central Florida responded to the vision and the quality of cooking utilizing wood burning Ovens, Rotisseries and Grills, combined with Fresh Herbs and Authentic Olive Oil. As the popularity of Antonios grew the demand for more followed. The Maitland location added an upstairs and the Celebration Company invited Antonios to open a location in Celebration. Today Antonios consists of Antonios Ristorante (Antonios Maitland Upstairs Restaurant), Antonios Market & Cafe (Antonios Maitland Downstairs), and Cafe D`Antonio (Celebration). These three locations serve customers from the greater Orlando area, Maitland, Winter Park, Edgewater, Altamonte Springs, Celebration, Kissimmee, all of Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties and more. In addition, Antonios has a huge following from tourists across the globe who have found this gem from the many conventions hosted by the Orange County Convention Center, or have simply traveled to Orlando to enjoy Disney World, Universal Studios or the many other theme parks in Central Florida. All three locations are still guided by the founding principals of Authenticity and Quality. Antonios uses the freshest of ingredients, prepared traditional Italian style and delivered to you with friendly superior service.
